Chris is a graduate of Amberton University where he earned a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling.  He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Performance from Texas A&M at Commerce where he graduated with “Summa Cum Laude” academic distinction.  For over twelve years, Chris has been highly active in community outreach services such as Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, and Big Heart Ministries as a representative of his church.

He also served as the Youth Director at his church for several years allowing him to gain valuable insight and experience in working with children and adolescents.  Chris is under the direct supervision of Gary Gabbard, M.A., L.P.C., during his counseling internship.  
 

Chris has been married to his wonderful wife for 14 years and has two amazing girls.  He feels that each piece of his life has served as a stepping stone preparing him for a career in counseling.  Chris believes that every person has the ability and the right to live a happy and purposeful life.  It is his goal to help others achieve happiness and purpose in their own lives.
