Gary Gabbard, M.A., L.P.C 214.618.8202 Gary Gabbard, M.A., L.P.C. Gary Gabbard launched his private counseling practice in 1999 in Plano, TX after returning to graduate school in mid-life and earning a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Amber University (Garland, TX) in 1997. He completed his internship under the supervision of Ken Bateman, EdD. in October, 1998. His training included clinical work at Charter Hospital in Plano, TX, Youth Intervention Services of Plano and Green Oaks Hospital in Dallas.

After successful completion of the Licensed Professional Counselor exam in 1998, he opened his private practice on Plano Parkway in Plano, TX. While growing his practice, he worked on a contract basis with major outplacement firms, a local alcohol treatment program and a methadone treatment center. In his private practice, Gary has worked with individual adults, couples and teens and their families. In 2004 Gary relocated his office to the growing community of Frisco, TX.

Through his own individual therapy and training, Gary has mastered the art of helping you to identify, respect and honor your free child, viewed as the soul and the essence of who you truly are. Allowing that “spirit” or “energy” to inspire your life and your choices will transform your life into an exciting, passionate adventure. It is this free child spirit within Gary that led to the genesis of Passionately Ever After Counseling Center in 2005.
