Warm, sensuous relationships in the bedroom are no accident.  Maybe when we were once in lust with each other, but in a committed relationship, love takes planning and careful execution.  One area often overlooked is the ambiance and mood within the master bedroom.  Listed below are some ideas to consider in making your bedroom an inviting “love haven”.

 

• Keep your room straight, free of clutter and disarray.

 

• Purchase the nicest bed sheets you can afford, skin is sensuously sensitive.

 

• Use soft, warm colors, textures and fabrics.

 

• Create depth and pleasure with faux painted walls using harmonious and serene colors.

 

• Coordinate furnishings, fabrics, drapes and lighting to complimentary styles.

 

• Get rid of the television and replace it with a good musical sound system.

 

• Use soft lighting or candles.  Dimmer switches are great.

 

• Pleasant fragrances, oils and lotions enhance the ambiance.

 

• Refuse to allow children and/or pets to sleep in your bed with you.

 

• Commit to make your “love haven” a sanctuary, guard it from all conflict.

 

In decorating the home, many people choose to make the master bedroom the last one to get any attention.  After all, we entertain guest in the dining or living rooms.  However, to live life passionately ever after, make your relationship top priority and celebrate it daily every time you enter your private oasis.
