The sessions are normally 45-50 minutes face to face with you and the remaining minutes of the hour spent on making notes of the session and keeping your chart up to date.

This varies depending on the issue(s) involved, the number of people in the session and the commitment you bring to counseling. Some issues may be finished in just a few sessions, many will require more. Your counselor will be able to give you a better estimate as your treatment plan is developed.
